The company SAVALAN – ASPI Winery has received new international awards at the IWSC 2025 (International Wine and Spirit Competition).

This year, over 12,000 samples of wines and spirits from more than 90 countries were evaluated by a panel of leading industry experts in London. Based on the tasting results:

SAVALAN Grappolo was awarded a gold medal with a score of 95 points. Judges praised its fresh aroma with notes of melon and English rose, a complex taste with hints of dried apricot and cool stone, and a layered, elegant finish.

SAVALAN Armud Arağı (pear distillate) received a bronze medal with 87 points. It features herbal and earthy aromas, a pear-forward taste with a light honey nuance, and woody undertones.

SAVALAN Tut Arağı (mulberry distillate) also earned a bronze medal, scoring 89 points. The jury highlighted its plum aroma, soft and sweet flavor, and clean finish with stone fruit notes.

IWSC is considered one of the most prestigious international competitions in the wine and spirits industry. These awards reflect the high quality achieved by Azerbaijani distillates on the global stage. The use of time-honored traditional production methods has received well-deserved recognition from world-class experts.
