On September 10, the 10th International Gastronomy Village opened at the iconic Place de la Concorde in Paris, bringing together more than 80 countries. The event offers visitors an opportunity to discover the gastronomic traditions and cultural heritage of different countries.
The Azerbaijani pavilion was organized by the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France. It featured traditional Azerbaijani dishes, including plov, dolma, shekerbura, pakhlava, badambura, jams and tea. National costumes, music and dance further complemented the cultural programme.
SAVALAN wines were also presented at the Azerbaijani pavilion, complementing the country’s gastronomic offering and introducing Azerbaijan’s contemporary winemaking tradition to an international audience.
Participation in international events of this scale allows SAVALAN to represent Azerbaijan through wine and share the country’s wine culture and winemaking traditions with audiences around the world.
Held under the patronage of renowned chef Alain Ducasse, the event will run until September 13.
